Install Touchcric on your TV
Touchcric is not in the TV's Play Store, so it is installed by typing a six-digit code into a small downloader app. About three minutes, all done with the remote.

This is for Android TV and Google TV: Sony, TCL, Hisense, Philips, Xiaomi Mi Box, Chromecast with Google TV and similar.
Have a Fire TV Stick, Samsung or LG TV instead?
Fire TV Stick: there is no Touchcric app for Fire TV, but its browser plays the site. Open the browser, go to touchcric.is and pick a match.
Samsung and LG TVs: these install apps from their own store only. Use the TV's web browser at touchcric.is, or cast the match from your phone.
1Install Simple Downloader from the Play Store
Open the Play Store on the TV and search for simpledownloader.
Install Simple Downloader, the one with the purple icon at the top of the list. The look-alikes with orange icons are different apps.
Open it when it has installed.
2Type the code
Type 112233 into the long bar across the top of Simple Downloader and press the arrow.
touchcrictv.apk (43 MB) begins downloading. Allow it about fifteen seconds.
3Allow it, then install
The TV says Simple Downloader is not allowed to install apps. That is normal the first time.
Pick Settings on that message, find Simple Downloader in the list and switch it on so it says Allowed. Press back.
The install continues on its own; pick Install when the TV asks.
Some TVs, Google TV ones in particular, keep the setting hidden until developer options is turned on. Unhiding it takes a minute, and then you carry on from this step.

Touchcric is in the apps row on the TV's home screen. Open it and pick a match with the remote.
If something is different on your TV
"App not installed"
Nearly always the TV is low on space. Remove an app you do not use, delete the file inside Simple Downloader, and download it once more with the code.
Typing the code downloads nothing
Make sure it is Simple Downloader with the purple icon; the code means nothing to any other downloader app.
Then check that the code went into the bar at the very top, six digits and no spaces. If the TV shows a page of search results, it searched for the number instead.
